Nice Pants

I remember the day three years ago:

I’m driving down the road in rural Virginia.

The route is winding through woods and clearings. I’m on the way to meet my brother for a weekend of backpacking.

Suddenly I see it: a makeshift billboard in the middle of someone’s yard.  In big letters it says:

  • “Put your Positive Pants on”

What a great line!

Are you grumpy because your proposal was rejected? Put your Positive Pants on.

Are you frustrated at how much work there is to do? Put your Positive Pants on.

Are you nervous about a tough conversation coming up? Put your Positive Pants on.

Nothing activates your creative juices like shifting your energy.

From glum to upbeat.

From frustrated to open-minded.

From nervous to determined.

Tomorrow I’m hosting a workshop called Free from Fixations.   In 1 hour, you’ll discover 7 strategies to disrupt the mindsets that get you stuck, so you have more enthusiasm and focus.

Strategy #2 is the Mood Lifter – a technique for finding your ‘positive pants’ so you have more access to your best ideas.

What’s 1 situation where your mindset could use a boost?  Come to the workshop and discover 7 ways to make it better.
